This is my strange and over-caffeinated corner of the universe. Here, words run rampant and books and movies outnumber humans to a ridiculous degree.

I first realized I wanted to be a storyteller when I was three years old and “fresh off the plane” from Italy.

After many difficult days of trying to comprehend the bizarre new language and social guidelines of the USA, I would sit by the pool of my family’s temporary residence in Atlanta, Georgia and narrate intricate stories to my captivated—or captive, depending on who you ask—parents.

Since then, I’ve tamed the three languages in my head and became somewhat more socially adjusted. (How much you ask? Well… I’m a writer now, after all.) In the meantime, I managed to pick up a B.F.A. in Dramatic Writing, a B.A. in Journalism, and a Minor in Spanish from New York University.

I’ve written and directed shorts for The Cinequest Film Festival, transcribed and organized footage for several in-development documentaries for Beau Willimon’s Westward Productions, translated interviews from Italian volunteer soldiers in Syria for The History Channel’s Hunting ISIS, as well as edited and localized English translations for five Korean webcomic series.

I was also a Researcher for the 45th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards, worked as a Production Coordinator for Ignition Films, and was a Program Coordinator and Manager for the HUMANITAS Prize Awards.

Currently, I work at my alma mater as the Academic Coordinator for NYU Los Angeles, trying to impart some of the lessons I’ve learned the hard way to future generations of creatives.

I typically write genre scripts both in the one-hour and feature film space, where I focus on characters struggling to deal with disparate identities and twists that shake their status quo.

In the last year, because my nerd quotient was clearly not high enough, I also started working on an epic fantasy book series and a romance novel.
